This is the secondary school in the small town Chernobyl-2. The town was build to house the families of military personnel working at the Duga radar site. The site also housed a music school and there was also a preschool, a kindergarten with nursery.

Chernobyl-2 is a secret military town, hidden in a forest at a distance of ten kilometers from Pripyat and the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The entire population of the town was hastily evacuated from the radioactive disaster zone, one day after the Chernobyl disaster. The school buildings have been abandoned ever since.
